Peatland Windblown Basket
Peatland Windblown Basket by Alison Dickens, a dynamic, contemporary piece crafted from Whissender and Black Maul Willow from Somerset, with a flash of unknown 'Hambrook Yellow' harvested from Hambrook marshes in Kent.
Drawn to sculptural forms, Alison's work evokes the high curves and edges of British landscapes, from the Yorkshire Dales to the Suffolk coast, as well as the shapes and patterns carved into the terrain by water and wind.
